At this time the unrest in the world is having an effect on us individually as well. It seems like all of the souls that are not at rest have been awoken by the spirit of unrest that is happening throughout our earth realm. Q&A: Is there a Length of Time for a Ghost to be Earthbound?

Recently I received a great question about the length of time ghosts stay trapped on Earth: I now think about all of these remote, inaccessible places in the world where people can't easily be helped. Part of me also wonders whether some kind of limit is placed on the length a ghost is suffering in isolation for, only since there don't seem to be any truly ancient ghosts reported.

Q&A:  Is there a Length of Time for a Ghost to be Earthbound?

A: That's a good question about a limit of time a ghost may linger. Having been over to England I encountered many ghosts from the 1100s to present day so I do know there are many ancient ghosts around.
   The reason why there are not a lot of ancient ghosts is that when some entities cross over into the light other ghosts follow. When  light opens, it's a doorway to the other side, and ghosts can often sense peace there. So, it would make sense to me that Earthbound ghosts would follow others into the light. I get the sense that it happens often in hospitals, prisons and cemeteries where the light can often be found. 
   There are, however, exceptions. The ghosts who choose not to go into those doorways of light likely stay behind for their original reasons like fear of the other side, or being happy in their earthly residence. It all comes down to individual choice.

Teacher's Spirit Provides Medium with a Lesson

Tom is a medium in the Inspired Ghost Tracking group of Maryland (of which I am also a member). In December he kept getting messages and images that he didn't understand, but sensed that they were someone that he was supposed to meet later in the week at a mutual friend's house for dinner. It turned out they were!! 
   Below are his text messages with the Beantown Medium, Ruth Larkin as he tried to understand the spirit communications. The spirit's communication provided Tom with a lesson why certain spirits communicate (thanks to Ruth Larkin for the explanation) . The results will astound you and Tom even got the EXACT first and last name of the spirit!

TOM SAID:  So it happened again.Two nights ago,could not sleep.The energies of two spirits, a male and female, kept me awake.They showed me home movies of them buying a new car and taking a road trip.  This time, I got the home movie. Remember the old grainy super 8 mm films? I could see them laughing, and showing off their new car. It was white in color. And then there were quick snapshots of their road trip.
   The female's name was Joyce Hammond.
I never got the male energy's name. But he did serve in the Army, and was very proud of his medals and badges. He would thump his chest as he spoke.

THE REVEAL OF THE MESSAGE

TOM SAID: So last night at dinner, there was a couple there that we did not know. The wife is especially gifted, and is a very developed medium. I told them of my encounter, and the husband immediately spoke up.
   Mrs. Hammond was one of his elementary school teachers. My description of her matched her appearance, and I got  her name, of course.
 While he was one of her pupils, there was a horrible accident in the classroom and one of the other students died from his injuries. This man said that his parents didn't want him to know what happened, so they told him the student transferred to another school. I'm still not sure why they were coming through

   Spirit doesn't always tell us why they come in with certain information. That is for the person receiving the information. 
   Meaning they will know why. Typically it's because something has been thought of throughout the years and was a memory for them with questions. I find that spirit will always respond to someone's concern or something that has been bothering them for a long time. I would definitely say this gentleman had been thinking of this often and for years. His mystery was solved.
    There is so much in our brain that is still untapped. Meaning when we think of things that we wonder about Spirit picks right up on it. Please continue to keep me posted on these unbelievable messages!

Amazing Talk- Breakthrough Ghost Photography by Tim Scullion

On Friday, March 4th, Inspired Ghost Tracking (IGT) of Maryland hosted Tim Scullion as a guest speaker. Tim is a ghost photographer, a musician, an author and former teacher. He came to the IGT group to talk about his new full-color book of amazing photos of ghosts who haunt Williamsburg, Virginia. The photos were incredible.
   I realized that ghosts make themselves known to Tim so he can make people aware of them. They want help crossing over, and by enabling Tim to photograph them and identify their locations, others can come back and cross them over. All it takes is one ghost to realize that someone can help them, and others can sense the same thing.
   Tim showed quite a few photos from his book, and you will be astounded at the images of ghosts that he was able to capture. Of course, you'll also get a history lesson about Williamsburg and some of the people who lived there. To learn about the book, read on.

Michael's Letter: Amazing Signs from his Canine Companion, Lady

Today I'm sharing a wonderful letter (with the writer's permission) of the signs he got from his beautiful dog, Lady. 

Hi Rob, I just wanted to thank you for this book [Pets and the Afterlife]. I recently lost my canine companion of 10 years. I have read 3 books so far, thumbed through many, and really appreciate the straight forward manner in which you write and relay your stories. With each book I learn something new. Your descriptions of how spirit pets send messages and what we should look for were confirmation of the many messages I have received.
If I may, I would like to share one of my favorites……I was devastated to learn I would have to put down my Lady. I was at such a loss I remember thinking "I can’t wait to go to sleep so Lady could come to me in a dream”. I was frustrated and heartbroken when I hadn't dreamed of her for 2 weeks. I prayed that she show me a sign in the form of a bird landing on my window sill. 
  A day later I looked outside and realized I haven’t seen a bird in days because it was so cold and gray outside. That request was not practical giving the conditions, so I called off the prayer. The following night I wasn’t supposed to be home but it ended up that way. I was watching TV downstairs and decided to walk upstairs for a drink. As I approached the stairs I heard a faint chirping, similar to a smoke alarm with a weak battery. I walked up a 1/2 of a flight of stairs and it got louder and I identified it as a chirping bird. As I approached the hallway leading to my bedroom I felt a little nervous at what I might discover. How could a bird get into in my bedroom? As I turned into the room the nightstand lamp/alarm was on in the bird chirping mode. I haven’t set the alarm for three years!  It was 7:30pm and the alarm was used to wake me at 5am for work!  There are no coincidences.
Then in a  dream, she came running and barking out of nowhere as a stranger peered through our living room window. I was shocked to see her because I was aware she had passed. It was so real and she was just as excited as I, as I hugged and kissed her. She was still protecting me and our home.
Thank you Rob for alerting me to the many signs and confirming the many dreams are messages from my beautiful little girl.
You also confirmed to me my girlfriend's deceased brother (we share the same name and birthday) used me to deliver a message( their mothers name  written on an envelope found on a distant sidewalk) to my girlfriend that their recently passed mother is with him. There are no coincidences.
